Hi, I’m Sara Holt. I run An Hour’s Peace classes.

I know what it’s like

Every Sunday evening I’d be standing in my living room, speed-ironing school uniforms.

I’d been on the go all weekend, trying to be all things to all people, and I still wasn’t done.

With no space to recover, I’d be back at my desk on Monday, my head full before the week even started.

everything else takes over

I had good intentions. I’d read the self-care advice. I’d download the wellness apps. But everything else took over.

So next Sunday, I’d be in the same spot, muttering I’d not stopped again.

protect some time out

Eventually, enough was enough! I needed a way to protect some time out, or it would never happen.

So, I looked for a class.

But the only thing I could find was meditation or mindfulness classes. They weren’t my cup of tea.

I just wanted a chance to clear my head and feel like me again.

And that’s where the idea for An Hour’s Peace classes first started...
